Evaluating Distributed Learning
Welcome to the Evaluation support area! This area provides a collection of resources relating to the evaluation activities in an instructional systems development process. The Quality Evaluation Tool for Computer- and Web-Delivered Instruction, written for OSD's ADL Initiative, helps instructional developers and instructional program managers determine the quality of their instructional products, both during development and at project completion. The evaluation criteria are organized into two major sections: instructional features and user-interface design. For those who wish additional information or wish to conduct a more "in-depth" evaluation, the detailed discussions of each evaluation criterion include definitions of important terms and summaries of the literature that supports the criterion. Materials from a Training Evaluation Workshop are available and designed to provide guidance to DoD organizations on how to evaluate their training programs. The PowerPoint slides are intended to be a self-guided resource for individuals interested in evaluating a training program. Training Evaluation Workshop Materials |
